The Ballard Independent Fitwel Certification
Our second Fitwel project, The Ballard Independent, recently received their 1-Star Fitwel certification! Working alongside Holland in the Fitwel process has been a pleasant and streamlined process, due to David Vo’s hard work and excellent communication with our team. Well done, everyone!
The project’s location near the Burke Gilman trail and access to public transit offered many easy point capturing options that positively impact tenant health and well-being. There were lots of healthy food and beverage options (that made us all hungry during the documentation process) within walking distance, which allowed the project to gain high-point scoring credits. The project’s focus on communal spaces and amenities helped secure their high 1-Star certification score of 104.
