We’re only a month into 2017, but here at ArchEcology we have been busy! Besides diving into the new challenges of LEED V4 several of our team members have added to their credentials!
Mugdha Mokashi has been qualified as a LEED Accredited Professional in the Homes Rating System. She is now qualified to provide consulting services for low-rise and mid-rise residential projects. This credential compliments her experience in architectural design and energy modeling.
In addition, Katherine Morgan has been qualified as a LEED Green Rater, building upon her in-field experience to provide on site verification for projects in the Homes Rating System. Katherine is a LEED AP with a specialty in existing buildings. She is also a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA) and Certified Building Operator (BOC Level 1).
With these new accreditations, ArchEcology has expanded our LEED AP expertise into the Homes Rating System to complement our experience across other LEED systems (including Building Design and Construction, Interior Design and Construction, and Building Operations and Maintenance). The USGBC now allows residential projects of any height to certify with LEED for Homes or LEED for New Construction. ArchEcology can assist owners and design teams understand the implications of each rating system and determine the most effective strategy for each unique residential project.
Congratulations to Katherine and Mugdha!
